Countries
Air travel grouped by country. Each entry shows how many airports and active airlines are registered under that country in the OpenFlights dataset, and links to a per-country page with the full breakdown.
The world's commercial air network is lumpy. A short list of countries (the United States, China, Brazil, Australia, Russia, Canada) hosts most of the airports and the largest base of registered carriers. Hundreds more get by with a single international gateway and a small domestic network anchored to it. Even the smallest entry on this page is a real way into the global network. The hop from a regional airport up to a hub is as much a part of the system as a transatlantic widebody.
Use the alphabetical sections below to find a country, or jump to a specific page from the lists on the homepage. Each country page links onward to airport and airline detail pages where you can trace which carriers fly which routes.
